TRAILSIDE DOWNTOWN MASTER PLAN
The City of Landrum’s Trailside Downtown Master Plan is designed to connect the future Saluda Grade Rails to Trails to our historic downtown, creating new opportunities for economic growth, tourism, and community connection.
The plan focuses on enhancing the visitor experience through strategic amenities such as public restrooms, seating areas, bike racks, wayfinding, and welcoming gathering spaces. By improving accessibility and walkability, the initiative encourages trail users to explore local shops, restaurants, and attractions while supporting small business visibility and investment.
Beyond economic impact, the plan promotes quality of life by providing safe, active spaces for residents and visitors to walk, bike, gather, and participate in community events. Through thoughtful placemaking and infrastructure improvements, the Trailside Downtown Master Plan will help strengthen Landrum’s identity as a vibrant, connected, and destination-driven downtown.

CERTIFICATE OF ZONING COMPLIANCE
This application should be completed and submitted to the City when changing the use of a particular piece of property. A site plan may be required if the change involves a new or altered building, sign, or other physical alteration to the site.
REZONING REQUESTS
Rezoning requests can be made by letter to the City Administrator. Such requests require approval by the City’s Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council.
